Task 1C Starting out on BAPP

Hello! I've just uploaded my video about starting out on BAPP to you tube but I'm not sure how to add it to the channel. It's really embarassing for me to watch, I'm even cringing seeing it below in my blog. I hope I've gone about it in the right way. Please let me know your thoughts,
Thank you,
 Emily

  1. Hi Emily,

I loved the way you used the idea of getting ready for a show as part of the video, from backstage to rehearsals to show - very impressed that you managed to get the same routine and link them at the same point in the choreography, I think it works really well. Hopefully the course will follow the same path; starting out in the unknown, experimenting, and ending up with a polished performance!

  2. I agree with Aicha, It's a great idea to show yourself not only in your work environment, but with all the different aspects of being a performer; preparation, rehearsals and performance. Don't cringe Emily, be proud of your great video!

  3. Emily - great job!
I was impressed when watching the clip. It was very professional and you have done it so quick whilst on board! Like Alicia said you should be proud - well done

  4. Well done Emily, great video. Seriously impressed the transition between rehearsal and performance and that you managed to put that together while on board; you're clearly managing your time very well!
Don't let the fact that it makes you cringe cause you to worry about the videos quality, I can't watch myself at all without cringing! I think that's part of being a perfectionist dancer! I'll echo what Alicia said, be proud!

  5. Thank you so much everyone. I didn't know when I was going to be able to upload the video if I didn't do it on Tuesday just because of sailing times and internet access times clashing with work etc. Seriously the comments are really appreciated, I was so worried about what other people would think even though I know that's what were supposed to be getting over on this course! I'm really looking forwards to watching everyone elses!

  8. Emily, As everyone else has said already, great job.
Really nice to see you trehearsing and then performing the same bit. Seeing you in the rehearsal space and changing rooms gives me those excited tingles. Hope you are enjoying yourself.
Please can you help me with the photos. I have opened a Flicr account and put the link on my Blog but i love the look of your profile with the photos in the top right corner and under the "my portfolio" section have those pictures (which are beautiful by the way) there too. Oh and the same with the Youtube video, i have the link but i want the actual video as you have on yours. I would love to know so i can add the exciting and professional look that your Profile has. Any help or guidance you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much darlin.
I hope to hear from you soon
    Stay safe - Phil
